The adventure begins

My adventure starting in the backpackers of Auckland, 4-beds room, Turkish dinner with Angelika, last tour in the streets of Auckland. Wake up at sunrise for taking the train. All is ok, carrying baggage like in the flight but not too much checked, so I can carry the baggage of Lucas Iliano, Couchsurfing mate.
The train cross slowly the North Island and it’s really special near the national park. The sun light is amazing, faraway a mount king the landscape at east, the countryside at west. I arrive to Wellington in the evening, with play of light in the sky. Lucas is waiting for me, we have a dinner together, we chat for a long time. Lucas has good plans to go around the world, especially the crossing of South America by bike.
In the morning new waking up, I go to the port to take the ferry to Picton. Finally I put my foot on the south island. In the ferry I know a German guy with Rasta hair who goes around with his father. They are great, it’s impressive seeing them together. They are tender and brave. Strange. I arrive to Picton after to be slip slowly in fiords that defends it, there is green everywhere, buildings look strange. I like Villa backpackers, I know a few of people, I enjoy the afternoon, I book the Queen Charlotte Track at the i-site. 199$nz.
Tuesday night, one of guys of 10-beds room where I was sleeping vomited 3 times, near my stuff. Wake up at 7 and the weather was horrible. Wind and rain were so strong.
Meeting with the boat at port but where is the port and where is the boat ? Fortunately I can keep my hat. I have to look very strange with all my stuff to ask information for the end Endeavour express, that has to take me at the start of QTC, a Ship Cove. Sea is angry and I remember other bad adventures with the boat, but what can I do ? I hope travel is short. The boat dancing a lot, doors opening, baggage fly. Looks hard, but I try to feel relaxed, to breath well, to listen music. This time I didn’t have breakfast and it was an excellent idea.
After almost 1 hour and half we come to Endeavour Inlet. The captain ask me – now – where I have to go.
I answer him Ship Cove, at starting of QTC. He explain me we aren’t in Ship Cove, if I want really to go it and if I really want starting the QTC by walk now. I look outside. Rain is really heavy now and 4 old ladies get in the boat screaming the weather.
I say that i want to go. Everyone looks at me strange, asks me if I’m sure. Yes, I go. I start from here, so I cut 10 km of crossing under the rain. I leave my bigger bag to the captain who will take it to the hostel and I go out under the rain. I did 50 meters and I’m already wet. I find a building with an open door and I get it in. Looks very hard and I’m not so prepared for the rain. I pack my stuff with some plastic bags and I wait. Forecast talked about a possibly better afternoon e I’m trust weather is going better, but now I don’t feel going out, looks a crazy thing. I say a Rosario, I listen the conversations of some local people and then I go out. I ask for information but they don’t understand me. Pronounce of Track is “Trék” and at the end I go in the forest.
There are streams everywhere. After a hour also my shoes in gore-tex are completely wet, maybe the hole of my bottom is dry, it’s important that my stuff is dry. Slowly rain going off, some pieces of blue appears, sun coming. The landscape is beautiful. The way is hard because there are a lot of streams and so I have to be careful, same streams become a ford. Others funny memories, the ford-man.
I find a bridge illuminated from sun and i do a pause to eat and dry the clothes. I look careful all the animals around me and the clothes, that the wind don’t put in the scream, so I’m fine. I don’t trust in black cloud over me and I decide not losing time. I go and the sun is the king, the most is dry, I arrive to Punga Cove Resort, where after a lot of time I have a room for myself. I enjoy the evening, the sunset, the stars, chatting with people, it fall down a cold evening and I haven’t blanket. I get in still dressed in the sleeping bag and I sleep but in the morning I have cold. Breakfast bread and jam, I pack everything in my big bag and I go around 9 o’clock. It’s still cold, I have my jacket but it’s a wonderful day. I have in front of me 24,5 km of up and down that I’ll do almost all alone, with my thought and my songs. The birds of the wood enjoyed listening my version of “viva la libertà” of the myths Masini.
I thought about the we live the Love only with some people, but it comes from inside of us, not from outside. It’s like if these people could move our skill to love. This is our skill. A sentence of Gospel tells “love your enemy”. Why ? I believe that everyone could try the time that does us more happy is the time to love. The problem is that looks to can to do it only with some people and in specific situations. If a person needs complicates circumstances to love, difficulty he will be happy. The concept is: More I simplify the circumstances that I need to love more my life will be happy. How can I do this ? First the consciousness. Now i know i can do something. I can desire. If i desire, the Life, that give me every breath i need, will answer to my request. How long does it take, How much I’ll can improve ? I don’t know, but I think it works in this way and I’ll try it, I’m still trying it.
In the evening i have a long chat with Heidi, interesting German girl who known 4-5 languages and does a strange job. Friday morning is rain and wind yet, I recover my socks leaved at open air. I go and rain going light. I have 21 km to do, almost of all alone. I find the 2 British guys of the last day, one of them lives in the Devon where maybe there is an amazing Track. I find a couple of people of New Caledonia whose I have a long chat. In the evening I meet Alison and we make a plan, direction Westport.

Posso desiderare. Che ne so.
